I started a photography series about what luchadores do when outside of the ring. I call it “Cada dia es una lucha.” I came up with the idea randomly a few weeks ago and started shooting last week. There are still many more shots to be added so keep checking in.

Carlos Mendez is an artist (illustrator, painter, photographer, and weirdo) from San Diego, California; born and raised. He has had work used by GrnAppleTree Clothing out of Los Angeles, Ca and was also 1 of 5 photographers chosen by Levi's to be a part of their "Stars and Stripes" exhibit in San Francisco in 2009. He is currently trying to stay relevant in an ever changing art world that he has yet to even begin to understand.
